Food Hopping At Yokohama Chinatown

(yokohama no chuukagai de tabearuki)

今日は妹と、久しぶりに中華街で食べ歩きをした。
(Kyou wa imouto to, hisashiburi ni chuukagai de tabearuki wo shita)

中華街にはめったに行かないけど、とても奥が深い場所だ。
(Chuukagai ni wa metta ni ikanai kedo, totemo oku ga fukai basho da)

肉まんや、小籠包や、タピオカミルクテイーのお店がたくさんあって、おいしそうだった。
(Nikuman ya, shouronpou ya, tapioka miruku tee no omise ga takusan atte, oishisou datta)

ごま団子を買ったら、ちょうどいい甘さで、おいしくてびっくり！
(Goma dango wo kattara, choudo ii amasa de, oishikute bikkuri!)

食べきれないと思ったけど、大丈夫だった。
(Tabekirenai to omotta kedo, daijoubu datta)

他にもおいしそうな食べものがたくさんあったから、スマホにメモした。
(Hoka nimo oishisou na tabemono ga takusan atta kara, sumaho ni memo shita)

妹とおそろいのパンダのキーホルダーを買った。
(Imouto to osoroi no panda no kiihorudaa wo katta)

楽しくて、あっという間に時間が過ぎた。
(Tanoshikute, attoiuma ni jikang )

帰りの電車に遅れそうになったけど、ぎりぎり間に合って、ほっとした。
(Kaeri no densha ni okuresou ni natta kedo, giri giri ma ni atte, hotto shita)

次の食べ歩きが楽しみだ。
(Tsugi no tabearuki ga tanoshimi da)

Translation:

Today me and my younger sister food hopped at Chinatown for the first time in a while.

I rarely go to Chinatown, but it's a very profound place.

There were many shops selling meat buns, xiao long bao, and tapioca milk tea, and they looked delicious.

When I bought some sesame dumplings, I was surprised at how delicious they were and had just the right amount of sweetness!

I thought I wouldn't be able to eat it all, but it turned out to be okay.

There were many other delicious-looking foods, so I made a note in my phone.

I bought a matching panda keychain with my younger sister.

It was fun, the time passed by in a blink of an eye.

We almost missed our train on the way back, but we barely made it and felt relieved.

We are looking forward to our next food hopping trip.
